Got my hands on the AKAI MPK mini MIDI controller. I’ve had it for about 3 weeks now and this is the first project I worked on. (Most of that time was spend on working out the drum and bass parts)
Now, I REALLY like old school Hip Hop beats and I REALLY REALLY like scratching. (However, I’m clueless when it comes to Turntables, Vinyles and Faders)
Thankfully, I saw other Youtubers using the Joystick to emulate scratching and I thought it sounded pretty convincing. My computer is running MPC Beats, which is a free (Limited) DAW made by AKAI that anyone can download. (Paid version has more tracks and stuff)
If you’re interested to know how It’s done, you should watch the following video:

(That’s what I did) He doesn’t use MPC Beat exactly but another AKAI machine which gives just enough clues on how to do it.
Thanks for watching!
And thanks for all your comments and continued support, it means the world to me 🙂
